003 - Timeways

Machines are effective when they are able to repeat an operation, efficiently, ad infinite. An NFT theme of looped GIF’s could be a result of the already in place GIF/Internet phenomenon. The GIF/NFT prevalance could also be because of the infinite nature of NFT’s. Once created it should, like all art, take on a life of its own. Although it is just a simple repeating pattern, it will repeat to new audiences that will lend new meaning and ownership to it throughout time.

The aesthetic nature of a Black and White Lo-Fidelity typewriter endlessly typing, as if the crosshairs of an FPS or the window of a cockpit was exactly and deliberately firing off letters to the future. Such is the nature of NFT’s. Appropriately, the third NFT in the collection is “Timeways”, an observation of the timelessness of art and the blockchain.
